Before (kitchen when the house was up for sale before I bought it)
Small Reno #1 – crown molding on the cabinets, redid the walls, new hardware,
new appliances and hardwood flooring
I used permacel tape on the walls to create the stripes! I started out using a laser level but got lazy and ended up just using a small strip of the same tape as spacers between the each stripe once I switched to that method the stripes went up pretty quickly! I did not want to sand painted stripes or take wallpaper down once I got sick of the stripes and wanted to remove them.
I have plans to redo the counters, install a back splash, take the stripes down (I’m sick of them but I’ve been living with the striped walls for 6 years now) and painting the cabinets!
Small Reno #2 – Here is my kitchen after taking the stripes down (see the nightmare that was here) and painting the walls in Sherwin Williams Wool Skein.
Board and Batten with wall baskets you can see more of the baskets here
Next up is the backsplash, cabinets and counters!
